St. Vigil Seis Golf Course:
The St. Vigil Seis golf course in South Tyrol is more than just a place to golf – it is a unique experience of responsible, sustainable golfing in the Dolomites.
As a commitment to ecological golf, we practice sustainability, actively promote biodiversity, and protect the breathtaking Dolomite landscape that surrounds us.
Discover with us how a challenging round of golf and the conservation of nature can be perfectly united.
Our Commitment
to a Green Future for Golf
We have made it our mission to establish our golf course
as a pioneer for sustainability in golf.
Our concept is based on several pillars
that are in harmony with the nature of South Tyrol.
Harmoniously Embedded
in the South Tyrolean Landscape
Our golf course gently nestles into the traditional landscape with its meadows, a picturesque mountain stream, and gentle forest edges.
We preserve and maintain characteristic elements such as dry stone walls, hedges, and field groves, integrating them harmoniously into the course design.
This not only creates a beautiful playing environment but also preserves valuable habitats for native flora and fauna—from blooming dog roses to old walnut trees.
Living Biodiversity:
Blooming Oases Instead of Monotony
Instead of monotonous lawns, we deliberately focus on species-rich wildflower meadows.
These blooming oases are a paradise for bees, butterflies, and countless other insects.
A specially developed blooming calendar ensures that colorful flowers provide a food source from spring to autumn—from liverworts to fragrant hemp-agrimony and vibrant purple loosestrife
Living Heritage:
Our Traditional Orchard Meadows
Near hole 9, we cultivate and maintain an orchard with old, robust fruit varieties such as the Canada Reinette and the Pastor pear.
These valuable biotopes provide a habitat for over 5,000 animal and plant species and are a living piece of South Tyrolean cultural history.
Some of our old trees are even under landscape protection.
Renaturalized Waters:
A Paradise for Flora and Fauna
The ponds at holes 1 and 9 have been renaturalized by us.
With native marsh and aquatic plants like the yellow marsh-marigold and the elegant iris, we have created valuable wetlands that offer a protected habitat for amphibians, dragonflies, and birds.
Core Goal:
Resource Conservation
For us, sustainability also means
using precious resources responsibly.

Our Goal:
30% Less Water Consumption by 2030
We are investing in state-of-the-art technology
to drastically reduce our water consumption.
Modern Irrigation:
A completely
updated system
ensures precise and
needs-based watering.

Satellite-Based Analysis:
We use
satellite imagery
to monitor soil
and plant moisture.

Drought-Resistant Grasses:
Planting new grass
varieties that require
significantly less water
is a key part of our strategy.

Sustainability in Every Detail:
From Greenkeeping to Panoramic Views
Our commitment is reflected in all areas.

Natural
Pathways:
Hedges of native
shrubs line the paths,
serving as natural
corridors for wildlife.

Regional
Partners:
We work closely
with local and
organically
oriented partners.

Natural
