The Golfclub St. Vigil Seis,
a genuine experience with nature in the Schlern region
Nestled in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, Golf Club St. Vigil Seis is considered a true gem among South Tyrol’s golf courses. The 18-hole course, designed by renowned landscape architect Bernd Hofmann (hofmann röttgen, Landscape Architects BDLA, Limburgerhof, Germany) and professional golfer Wolfgang Jersombeck (Golf Course Planning and Project Development GmbH, Landau, Germany), has been masterfully integrated into the surrounding alpine terrain.
Wolfgang Jersombeck, a prominent figure on the German PGA Tour and a former World Cup player, served as Head Professional for 26 years. Dr. Luciano Canziani was responsible for the coordination and site management of the project.
The result is a technically sophisticated course that blends harmoniously with the natural landscape. Great care was taken in shaping the fairways and terraces, using native Alpine flora to create a space that is not only a joy to play, but also a delight to the senses. It’s a course that both relaxes and energizes – offering an inspiring and restorative golfing experience.
Since 2013, the course has been owned by the Stuffer family, who, together with a dedicated board and a highly motivated team, are passionately committed to maintaining and continually enhancing the quality and character of this exceptional golf course.
